Anke is interested in the material expression of the deep, abstruse things which move in us and between us. Exploring these things that are beyond words, but with a process that often begins with them, Anke finds their expression in the corporeal and material. She works between mediums and disciplines, with drawing remaining fundamental to her practice.

Born in Roermond, Netherlands. Living and working on unceded Dharawal Land, Wollongong, NSW, Australia.
